Are you trying to get more customers and sales on Instagram?
Here's a simple thing you must understand and implement immediately to increase your conversions.
To get more customers, you need to know what a marketing funnel is and how it works.
A marketing funnel is basically the journey a potential customer goes through before they make a purchase. People seldom buy anything the first time they come across a business so that's why it's critical to have a marketing funnel in place.
The 4 Stages of the Marketing Funnel.
1. Awareness
2. Interest
3. Desire
4. Action
In marketing, we call this the AIDA model.
Awareness: How do you make the target audience aware of your products or services? What is your outreach strategy? My recommendation is through content creation and paid advertising.
Interest: How will you gain their interest? Are you using social proof to back up your reputation? Are you giving value upfront to get them interested? I strongly recommend giving away something for free. This could be a simple checklist that they will find useful.
Desire: What makes your product or service desirable? How do you interact personally to make an emotional connection? How will your product or service change their life? Make sure to communicate the benefits of your offer and paint a picture of how their world will be different after they've acquired it.
Action: What is the call to action and where do you place them? Is it easy for consumers to connect and where would they expect to find it? Make sure you have a clear call to action that directs people to learn more about your product or to buy now.
Most people focus on the awareness stage and ignore the other critical stages. If you want to get more sales, you must ensure you have a complete marketing funnel.
A typical Instagram marketing funnel looks something like this
1. Share content on Instagram - Create awareness
2. Get people on your email list - Confirming their interest
3. You send them an email with the benefits - Create desire
4. You ask them to buy - Get them to take action
Do this and you'll start making a lot more sales on Instagram
